Job summary

A payroll services provider near Glasgow is looking for a Payroll Administrator to manage payroll processing and handle queries. The ideal candidate has 2-3 years' experience in payroll administration, preferably in a public sector background. This position starts ASAP on a 3-month contract with potential for extension.

Qualifications

  • 2/3 years of payroll admin experience required.
  • Experience handling 1000+ payroll items in a shared services environment.
  • Public sector experience is desirable.

Overview

Portfolio Payroll are partnering with an exciting client based near Glasgow. The role is to start ASAP for an initial period of three months, with likelihood of extension until the end of March. The role is Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week.

Responsibilities
  • Processing and preparing payroll data
  • Answering payroll queries
  • Dealing with timesheets, starters/leavers, onboarding and other admin tasks
Requirements / Qualifications
  • 2/3 years of payroll admin experience
  • Experience handling volumes of 1000+ in a shared services environment
  • Public sector experience is desirable
  • Experience with Oracle Fusion implementation projects (preferred)
Details
  • Location: near Glasgow
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
  • Contract: initially three months, with a likelihood of extension to the end of March
