Overview

As a Payroll and Reward Officer you can make your own powerful contribution to Westminster's success. Delivering highly professional Payroll, Pension and Reward processes, and ensuring compliance with our policies, system requirements and legislative obligations, you will ensure employees are paid accurately and on time, and relevant deductions are made. You will manage a wide range of administrative and coordination tasks across the People and Culture function, including data handling, supplier processing and communications, to keep operations running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process ad hoc payments, set up new suppliers, raise purchase orders, and process and monitor invoices.
  • Respond to email queries related to payroll, pensions and reward activities.
  • Administer annual and bi-annual reward cycles (e.g., yearly salary increases) and support requests to buy additional annual leave and private health insurance renewals.
  • Contribute to the delivery of projects across Payroll, Pension, Wellbeing and Reward functions.
  • Compile and prepare documentation for Freedom of Information and Subject Access Requests in line with data protection guidelines.
  • Maintain and create pages for teams’ SharePoint sites and subsites.
  • Schedule and manage logistics for internal meetings, prepare agendas, take notes, and ensure timely follow-up actions.
  • Support function events by creating Eventbrite invites and organising practical logistics.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Ability to process written and numerical data with high accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Extensive experience using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel) and SharePoint.
