A leading housing association in Dartford seeks a qualified Payroll Accountant to provide payroll services and maintain records. Payroll Accountant

Role: Payroll Accountant

Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday-Friday

Salary: £34,641 - £43,301 per annum, dependent on experience

Contract: Full-time, permanent

Location: Dartford/Agile

Responsibilities
  • Provide payroll services on behalf of Moat. Accurately maintain, reconcile and report on all payroll related records in accordance with statutory and Group policy.
  • Act as the focal point for all payroll related communication to Employees, between the HR and Finance teams and external partners such as our Payroll Bureau.
  • Maintain pension records and our cloud-based online expenses system.
  • Prepare monthly performance reporting, budgets & forecasts and year-end employment disclosures for all employment costs and headcount reporting.
Qualifications
  • You'll be a qualified in Payroll/Accountancy with an exceptional attention to detail and proficient in numerical analysis and interpretation to make a positive impact to the team and wider business.
  • Experience and detailed knowledge of payroll administration and legislation, including a good understanding of the interfaces with HR & Payroll systems, supported by significant practical experience.
  • An excellent communicator, able to work with, and influence, internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work to time critical deadlines and evidence strong and accurate reconciliation skills.
What does a Payroll Accountant do?
