LOCATION: Grange Park Primary School
WORKING PATTERN: 30 hours per week. Monday – Friday 09:00 – 14:30. Term time + 1 week.
CONTRACT: Permanent
SALARY: Scale 6 NJC point 18 to point 22 - £31,537 - £33,699 (£22,195 - £23,715 actual)

The Pastoral Support Coordinator will help provide high-quality pastoral care and emotional support to pupils, ensuring their wellbeing and personal development are nurtured in a safe and inclusive school environment. The role will involve supporting children with low-level anxiety, school avoidance, and challenging behaviour; working with families to strengthen home–school links; and empowering staff to respond effectively to children’s needs. The post-holder will work closely with the SENCo and Behaviour Lead to ensure a joined-up approach across school. The duties of the post are varied and will evolve as the Pastoral Support Coordinator develops within the role, reflecting the growth of their experience, knowledge, and understanding of the school community.
