As a Pastoral Leader, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the personal, well-being, and behaviour of our students. Working closely with senior leaders, teaching staff, and families, you’ll lead on pastoral care strategies that foster inclusion, resilience, and positive relationships. This is a dynamic, people-focused role where every day brings opportunities to make a real difference in the lives of young people.

What You’ll Do
  • Student Well-being: Champion mental health and emotional support, ensuring every child feels safe, valued, and ready to learn.
  • Behaviour & Inclusion: Lead behaviour management strategies, promote positive conduct, and uphold our inclusive ethos.
  • Safeguarding & Support: Act as a key point of contact for safeguarding concerns, liaising with families and external agencies.
  • Community Engagement: Strengthen links between school, home, and the wider community through proactive communication and partnership work.
  • Leadership & Collaboration: Work alongside teachers, SENCOs, and senior leaders to deliver pastoral programmes and interventions that remove barriers to learning.
