Parts Sales Advisor

Northampton

£25-£30,000 + annual and monthly bonus scheme

Monday-Friday 40hr week

We are recruiting for a rapidly growing organisation based in Northampton who are looking for a sales advisor to join their parts team. They are looking for a personable and strong communicator, that can easily build rapport - whilst offering a friendly and knowledgeable service.

Main Duties
  • Liaise with customers and suppliers, including managing relationships with major key accounts
  • Provide customer and product support, resolving queries and issues promptly
  • Maintain regular, timely communication with customers and clients
  • Identify, develop, and follow up on new sales opportunities
  • Build industry, client, and market knowledge to prepare accurate and competitive quotations
  • Receive, process, and manage customer orders efficiently
  • Assess customer component requirements and source suitable suppliers through web-based research
  • Receive and log goods into the warehouse system accurately
  • Undertake any other duties reasonably required to support the business
Skills / Experience
  • Previous service & or parts experience
  • Ability to work on own initiative within a strong team framework and good attention to detail
  • Communicate effectively by Telephone and e-mail - Strong interpersonal/communication skills
  • Plant, Automotive or Commercial vehicle product knowledge or an engineering aptitude
  • Computer literate, knowledge of basic Word and Excel
  • Comfortable working to KPI's, targets and deadlines
