Overview

Home Instead Medway is recruiting Care Assistants in Gillingham, Rochester, Chatham, Strood & East Gravesend DA12 and surrounding areas. Part-time, weekdays and alternate weekends. A full driving licence with access to a vehicle is essential to support clients to the fullest.

Role: Care Professional / Care Assistant

Duties

Home Help & Light Housekeeping: Help clients maintain independence by assisting with household chores

Personal Care: Assist with mobility, getting ready, bathing, etc.

Companionship: Keep your client company or take trips in the local area

Other Support: Medication reminders, help with shopping and other tasks

What we need from you

• Available from 7am – 2pm and 4pm – 10pm (evenings) and alternate weekends and during weekdays

You must be a driver with a full UK licence and access to your own vehicle

Due to ongoing demand and growth, we are looking for people with kind, compassionate hearts who want to make a true difference to the quality of life for our clients to join our team in Medway, Higham & Shorne as Care Professional. You will provide a variety of non-medical services to help clients remain independent in their own home.

• You need at least 1 year of experience in the care sector as a Care Assistant working with older people and providing personal care, medication, and supporting other care needs.

You will have a passion for supporting others and pride yourself on delivering an outstanding service. You will be reliable, trustworthy and respectful, and enjoy building professional friendships and spending time with clients.
