Job Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Part Time Veterinary Surgeon to join our team in Frome, Somerset. As part of our vibrant and growing veterinary practice, you will provide exceptional veterinary care to animals while working in a dynamic and collaborative environment. You will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of pets and their owners.
Job Title: Part Time Veterinary Surgeon
Location: Frome, Somerset
Working Hours: working flexible hours, ideally Mondays and Fridays alongside some Saturday mornings on a rota. The clinic opens from 8:30am to 6:30pm and there are no out of hours or on call with this role.
Salary: up to £75,000 DOE/FTE
Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine examinations, diagnostics, and treatments on a variety of animals.
  • Conduct surgical procedures as needed, including spaying, neutering, and other minor surgeries.
  • Collaborate with veterinary nurses and support staff to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
  • Provide guidance and advice to pet owners on general care, feeding, and wellness.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient histories, treatments, and progress.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
  • Veterinary degree from a recognized institution.
  • Valid veterinary license to practice in the UK.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
