We are looking for a Teacher to make a real and lasting difference to our students. We seek a professional who is keen to demonstrate their excellent teaching expertise. The successful candidate will need to show an ability to teach to a GCSE level.

Although supporting these young people can be challenging, the rewards are immense as we see them develop and succeed in reaching their full potential, gaining educational outcomes and returning to mainstream wherever possible.

Our schools are specialists in catering for various students in an all-through setting, our varied cohort of students include children classed as missing education and permanently excluded from mainstream schools, as such many of the pupils have social, emotional and behavioural difficulties (SEBD).

Responsibilities

• Teach GCSE level classes
• Support pupils with SEBD and other learning challenges
• Work within a high staff‑to‑pupil ratio and supportive management team
• Demonstrate professional teaching expertise

Qualifications & Requirements

• Applicable safeguarding screening, including DBS and at least two references covering the last 3 years from work with children or vulnerable adults.
• Enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.
• Must comply with Childcare (Disqualification) 2009 Regulations and complete the associated declaration form.
• Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) – must be able to speak fluent English.
• Will be required to complete a declaration form to establish whether they are disqualified under the Childcare (Disqualification) Regulations.

Salary

• Teacher: MPS Point 1 – Point 6: £16,458 – £22,676 (£32,916 – £45,352 FTE) + SEN if QTS £1,339
• Teacher: UQT Point 1 – Point 6: £11,300 – £17,629 (£22,601 – £35,259 FTE)
