Job description

This lovely family based in Golders Green, London, is seeking a Part-time Live-out Nanny to care for their toddler. The role is fully child-focused and includes all general nanny duties. The ideal candidate will be warm, dependable, and experienced with toddlers. Someone who speaks English is required, and Japanese is a bonus. Candidates who are not Japanese speakers must hold a recognised childcare qualification. No driving is required for this position. A valid first-aid qualification is required.

Working hours: Weekday evenings and weekends (flexible), approximately 12 hours per week

Duties include:

• Bathing and maintaining proper hygiene routines.
• Ensuring the child’s safety, well-being, and development at all times.
• Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the child.
• Engaging the child in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings such as visits to the park.
• Encouraging early literacy through reading and age-appropriate activities.
• Establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines.
• Keeping the child’s bedroom and play areas clean, organised, and tidy.
