Overview

This family based in Brighton, East Sussex is seeking a part‑time Nanny to care for their baby and school‑aged child. The role involves all general nanny duties. A driver would be a bonus. The family is very flexible with the nanny’s working days and hours and is simply looking for some extra support during the week. A valid first‑aid qualification is essential for this position.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday, 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm with additional ad‑hoc babysitting (flexible on hours).

Duties

• Providing full care for the children, including school pick‑ups, after‑school clubs, homework support, and evening routines.
• Engaging the children in creative, educational, and age‑appropriate activities.
• Managing all child‑related housekeeping, including bedrooms, play areas, and laundry.
• Maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of the home, including floor care, kitchen and bathroom cleaning, laundry, and dishwashing.
• Preparing healthy meals and assisting with general meal preparation.
• Feeding the family cat as required.
• Carrying out all duties relating to the children, including flexible school pick‑ups and after‑school club arrangements.
