Qualifications

  • Experience working in a laboratory environment, ideally within histopathology or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience of working safely within a laboratory environment with a sound understanding of COSHH regulations.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage stock and prioritize tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain laboratory equipment and support histology processes.
  • Ensure the safe handling and disposal of chemicals and solvents in line with health and safety requirements.
  • Provide technical support to staff, researchers, and students under the direction of the Senior Laboratory Technician.
