Tradewind are recruiting! Are you looking for your next role teaching English in a friendly and supportive school located in Southwark?

Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Part-Time English Teacher to join one of our valued partner schools in Southwark. This is a 3-day-per-week role, starting January, with the possibility of extension into the September 2026!

You will be teaching English across Key Stages 3 & 4, delivering engaging and well-structured lessons that support literacy development and inspire a love of English Language and Literature. The successful candidate will be expected to plan and deliver high-quality lessons, assess student progress, and contribute positively to the collaborative ethos of the English department.

Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - Essential
  • Experience teaching English at KS3 & KS4 (ECTs welcome)
  • Strong subject knowledge and passion for English education
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Commitment to raising achievement and supporting student well-being
