A recruitment agency is seeking a part-time Compliance Manager in SE London. You'll lead compliance initiatives within a law firm, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and managing anti-money laundering practices. Part Time Compliance Manager – SE London. A permanent role for a knowledgeable and proactive compliance professional to lead compliance initiatives within a collaborative legal services environment, ensuring regulatory standards and accreditation requirements are met.
You will report directly to the Managing Partner and work closely with management and administrative support teams. The role is integral to maintaining compliance standards and achieving Lexcel and ISO accreditation.
The compliance department upholds required standards to ensure the firm’s operational integrity and reputation in the legal sector.
You will become a true expert in compliance systems within a law firm, with opportunities for further training through LawNet and other providers. Your contributions will directly impact the firm’s compliance posture.
Effective communication is essential. You will engage with internal stakeholders (management, fee earners, secretarial teams) as well as external clients and regulatory bodies to foster positive relationships and successful compliance management.
The role is based in an open-plan office environment and may involve some light lifting. It requires prioritising tasks and multitasking with the ability to focus under pressure.
Primary equipment includes a Surface Pro; use of Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Tikit, Google, and other internet resources to manage compliance-related tasks and documentation.
