Part Time Hands‑On Nanny/Housekeeper

A lovely family has two home‑educated and spirited children aged 6 and 4. This role requires a fun, active nanny/housekeeper who will help the children to grow and flourish. The nanny will partner the parents in home educating their children, with educational trips to the zoo, gym classes, sports clubs and other curriculum‑based activities. On a Wednesday the children need to be dropped off at forest school; the nanny will then do housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry and shopping, and later collect the children at the end of the day. On a Thursday the children are registered with an activity club; the nanny will take the children there and stay with them. The nanny must work alongside the parents in creating an educational and nurturing atmosphere.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum experience: 2 years
• Training: Enhanced DBS, up‑to‑date First Aid and Ofsted registration (or willingness to register)
• Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 / NNEB minimum, flexible if the nanny has extensive experience
• Location: Maldon, Essex
• Working hours: Monday 8:30–16:30, Wednesday 8:00–17:00, Thursday 8:30–16:30 – flexibility is paramount.
• Pets: Family has two cocker spaniels
• Driving: Own car required
• Start date: 2 Feb 2026
• Salary: £22,100 Per Annum (£17 phr) Gross
