Contract Type: Fixed Term

Working hours: 8 hours per week, Saturday only, with potential overtime. Typical attendance: 06:00 – 14:00.

Location: Parcelforce Worldwide Newport, Unit 21 Maesglas Industrial Estate, Newport, NP20 2NN

Salary and Benefits: Starting salary £24,210 (£12.21 per hour) increasing to £25,679 (£12.95 per hour) on completion of 6 month probation. Plus an additional supplement of £842 per annum pro rata, night shift allowance, and excellent benefits (based on a 38 hour full time week). You could earn a total package of circa £30,000 per annum (based on 38 hour week with overtime).

First things first, you'll start your day by planning your delivery route and carrying out safety checks on your vehicle. You'll be busy collecting and delivering parcels to households and businesses, going the extra mile for customers as you deliver everything from birthday presents to vital business information. • Full UK manual driving licence (current UK address) covering up to 3.5 tonnes (Cat B). Ideally a clean licence with no more than 6 penalty points. You will be required to show your licence at your assessment.
