Job summary

A leading Emergency Care provider in the UK is seeking a qualified Nurse or Paramedic Non-Medical Prescriber to handle assessment and treatment of urgent cases. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in minor injuries and illnesses, possess a non-medical prescribing qualification, and be able to autonomously manage patients of all ages. The role also involves overseeing the Urgent Care Treatment Centre's operations and supporting junior staff. Salary ranges from £47,810 to £54,710 annually.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of extensive post registration experience.
  • Experience in appropriate settings like ED, MIU, WIC, UCC, or GP practice.
  • Ability for autonomous assessment and treatment of patients.

Responsibilities

  • Autonomous assessment, treatment and discharge of patients.
  • Manage the day to day running of the Urgent Care Treatment Centre.
  • Assist Operations Manager in improving patient care.

Skills

Post registration qualification in minor injuries and minor illness
Non-Medical Prescribing Qualification
Advanced clinical assessment module, Level 7
Experience interacting with ambulance crews
Advanced wound closure
Plastering/splinting course

Education

Master qualification or working towards
RCGP / CoP exam or equivalent
