Our client is an established international insurance company. They are looking for a paralegal claims handler to join the team on a contract basis to handle a wide variety of civil litigation claims.

Role Overview

You will join an existing team which focuses on civil litigation claims. This includes property disputes, contract disputes, construction and landlord / tenant claims. You will deal with the claim from inception to finish with a focus on assessing coverage, prospects of success and proportional cost handling of the claim.

The role will require someone with a background in civil litigation and a legal experience / training.

Candidate Profile

• The ideal candidate will have some prior experience working in a legal claims setting with a knowledge of civil litigation.
• Further training on policy coverage and interpretation will be given. Prior experience in an insurance setting would be an advantage.
• Confident dealing with a variety of stakeholders including brokers, solicitors and policy holders.
