A leading UK property company is looking for a Paralegal to join their Group Legal & Compliance department in Doncaster. We have an opportunity for a Paralegal to join our Group Legal & Compliance department, based from our head office in Doncaster with agile/hybrid working. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to develop their career long term within a growing business, as we will put the right candidate through their solicitor qualifications after an initial qualifying period.
The key focus of the Paralegal will be to provide support for progressing Data Subject Access Requests and supporting the General Counsel & Company Secretary in the continuous improvement programme for data protection processes across the Keepmoat business. They will also be assisting the team in drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of property, construction and commercial agreements.
This is an interesting and varied role as the Paralegal will also be involved in Undertaking research and providing advice on day-to-day legal queries, assisting the team with ensuring efficient and effective handling of disputes and enforcement action, as well as corporate transactions including Mergers & Acquisitions and disposals affecting the Group.

We are looking for someone with good time management skills, a responsive attitude and the ability to multitask. They will have excellent attention to detail and organisation skills with strong presentation skills, both written and verbally, including writing formally to stakeholders at different levels within the business. They will have confidence in interpreting and analysing data to make evidence-based findings. Proven experience within Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel, is essential.
Working knowledge of UK anti-money laundering or anti-fraud and project management experience would be desirable, as would a bachelor’s degree in a legal, compliance or finance background.
The successful candidate will have a good standard of general education (a minimum of 5 A*-C/4-9 GCSE’s or equivalent) along with previous work experience in compliance, residential sales, or the legal sector. They will need to have full right to work in the UK with no sponsorship requirement.
