A recruitment consultancy is seeking a proactive Paralegal to join their busy London office, supporting a high-performing team with various real estate and trusts matters. Job description

Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Paralegal to join their busy London office, supporting a high-performing team across both Real Estate and Trusts matters. his is an excellent opportunity to build experience in a varied and high-quality caseload, working closely with senior lawyers on complex transactions and long-standing clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with all stages of real estate transactions: acquisitions, disposals, leasing (both commercial & residential), development, and financing.
  • Support the trusts team: drafting and preparing trust deeds, asset transfers, trusts administration, tax & compliance matters.
  • Review and draft legal documents
  • Carry out due diligence
  • Liaise with clients, external counsel, lenders, surveyors, property agents and other stakeholders.
  • Manage a portfolio of lower‑value/less complex matters with supervision, ensure files are accurately maintained, maintain matter calendars.
  • Support fee‑earners with research, preparing reports and correspondence.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, tax and trust law requirements.
Skills & Experience
  • Law degree or equivalent qualification
  • Strong legal research and due diligence skills
  • Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to manage competing deadlines.
  • Professional and confident communicator, able to liaise with clients and third parties effectively.
  • A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a willingness to take ownership of tasks.
