We are recruiting experienced Painter & Decorators to join the Facilities and Environmental Services team at the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. This role focuses on high-quality decoration work within residential and public buildings, alongside essential mould-washing and removal tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out internal and external painting and decorating to a high standard.
  • Complete mould washing and mould removal tasks safely and effectively.
  • Prepare surfaces, including sanding, filling, washing, and priming.
  • Ensure all work complies with safety, environmental, and RBKC quality standards.
  • Work both independently and as part of a wider maintenance team.
  • MUST have experience in mould washing/removal.
  • DMC qualification preferred (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong decorating skills with proven experience in similar roles.
  • Ability to follow instructions, complete work on schedule, and maintain excellent workmanship.
  • Professional attitude and reliability.
