A leading services provider in Cambridgeshire is looking for a skilled Painter and Decorator to enhance facilities. The role involves hands-on maintenance tasks, managing work orders in a secure environment, and ensuring high standards of service. As a Painter and Decorator, you will be responsible for the maintenance and enhancement of the interior and exterior spaces at HMP Peterborough. You’ll deliver a wide range of tasks including painting, wallpapering, and aesthetic improvements as part of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works. Your role will also involve working on minor alteration and fabrication (MAF) projects across the prison estate.
You’ll manage work orders via our helpdesk system, ensuring jobs are completed efficiently and to the highest standard. Communicating with internal and external stakeholders is key, as you’ll need to liaise with clients, colleagues, and engineers to coordinate and deliver works that meet our safety and quality expectations.
This is a hands-on role in a secure environment, and you’ll be trusted with delivering a consistent and professional level of service while adhering to all health and safety standards.
