The Best Connection are recruiting on behalf of a leading automotive manufacturer based in South Birmingham. This is an exciting temporary to permanent opportunity for an experienced Paint Technician to join a dynamic and growing team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform painting activities in line with IATF 16949 quality standards.
  • Inspect all parts before painting to ensure they are fit for purpose.
  • Clean, maintain, and adjust paint robots and application equipment.
  • Apply primers, basecoats, and clearcoats to required quality standards (adhesion, colour match, gloss levels, thickness, etc.).
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and reduce costs.
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping (5S) and always follow health & safety procedures.
What We're Looking For:
  • 3-5 years' robotic painting experience (preferably within paint manufacturing or automotive).
  • Strong understanding of paint application processes, defect identification, and corrective actions.
  • Knowledge of production downtime escalation and quality standards.
Pay Rate:
  • £15.50 per hour
Hours of Work:
  • 22:00 - 06:00
  • Sunday - Thursday
