Job summary

A well-established SME is seeking a Paint Sprayer in Knowsley to join their team. This role offers an hourly rate of £16.00 with full-time hours from Monday to Friday. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in paint spraying, be proactive, and maintain high standards of workmanship. Responsibilities include prepping and spraying components, following safety regulations, and monitoring stock levels. This is a temporary position with potential for permanent placement.

Job Overview

A well-established SME in Knowsley are seeking a Paint Sprayer to join their team. On offer is an hourly rate of £16.00 and hours are full-time Monday to Friday on days. This role is offered on an ongoing temporary basis so please only apply if you are seeking a temporary role with potential for permanent.

Responsibilities
  • You will be responsible for ensuring all components are prepped and sprayed ensuring the highest standard of finish.
  • Have previous experience with two pack paints, working to material manufacturer guidelines and be capable of producing high quality work.
  • Be able to work individually and within a team to meet production targets
  • Follow clear instructions from team members and senior colleagues
  • Adherence to health and safety rules and regulations
  • Maintaining production area housekeeping
  • Minimise waste by using/disposing of raw materials and consumable items efficiently
  • Maintaining a safe working environment at all times
  • Monitor stock levels of paint and consumable equipment and reorder when necessary
  • Perform other duties outside of your usual role as and when needed, you will be trained on any extra duties you do.
Key skills and experience
  • This role is ideally suited to a hands on, organised, proactive and self-motivated individual.
  • Paint spraying/prepping and finalising experience ideally in a commercial industry
  • Consistently high standard of workmanship
  • Previous experience of working with two pack paint
  • Ability to ensure production target output and quality is maintained
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience required.
