Job description

Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an ad-hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability. Do you want more time to care for the children who are your patients? Then you should join Nuffield Health. As the UK's largest Healthcare Charity, we'll give you the time it takes to get to know your patients and be there for them when it matters.

This is nursing as it should be - and it starts with you. As a Paediatric Nurse at our Vale Hospital, you're registered with the appropriate governing body and you have the qualifications and experience relevant to your registration, including NMC. As well as post-registration experience, including on the surgical ward, you're dual trained and confident in both paediatric and adult care environments. Ideally, you bring ILS or ALS skills.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Play a vital role in the child's journey through the hospital.
  • Be every patient's trusted guide, supporting children and their parents or guardians.
  • Deliver high quality, clinically effective care as an essential part of our ward team.
  • Broaden your skills across a wide variety of cases.
  • Work within different specialist areas.
  • Benefit from flexible hours.
