Responsibilities include assessing and treating children, making clinical judgments for appropriate care, and ensuring adherence to guidelines. To work as an autonomous practitioner practicing within agreed guidelines and protocols to deliver quality patient services, which is evidence based including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, transfer to children’s ward or discharge.
