As a member of the Hunterston Project team, you will primarily be responsible for delivering a fully integrated package or packages of equipment to meet the project requirements (spec, quality, cost, schedule etc). The ideal candidate will be a logical thinker with the capability to quickly analyse a problem and deliver a practical solution.
They will have the ability to pick up new concepts rapidly and work both independently and collaboratively.
The Package lead will be responsible for integrating and delivering the Integration of the Rotating equipment Mechanical Technology packages (Generator, Flywheel, Turbine, Compressors), reporting to the project engineering manager, and working as part of a geographically spread and diverse team. This role will also interact with multiple contractors, requiring a great degree of self and time management. Interfaces with appropriate personnel on the project team.
This is an integral role that will help Highview Power to successfully deliver the Hunterston project, with involvement on future projects for the overall programme of projects to follow. The successful candidate will have the ability to work as part of a team, communicate effectively and prioritise their workload efficiently, which will be crucial to succeeding in this role.
