Job description

PA Support Required with Personal Care and Mealtimes - 28 Hours per week - SP-BCC-001.

The role involves providing high-quality personal care to support daily living and to promote dignity and comfort. This includes assisting with washing, bathing, maintaining personal hygiene, as well as helping with dressing and undressing. The position also requires providing toileting support, including continence care and safe transfers.

A key part of the role is assisting with mealtime preparation. Meal preparation will include blending foods to the appropriate texture, and supporting with feeding. Ensuring safety around swallowing food and liquids.

The individual uses mobility aids such as wheelchairs, molifts and stair lifts. Whilst previous experience and knowledge with these mobility aids is preferred it is not a requirement.
