Job summary

A local support organization in Dundonald seeks a caring individual to provide supervision and support to a person with specific needs. Responsibilities include accompanying him to work and social activities. Ideal candidates will be patient, supportive, and possess excellent communication skills. Experience with Autism is advantageous. This is a temporary role, offering £15.35 per hour and flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Experience with Autism and Prader Willi Syndrome is an advantage.
• Car driver preferred but not essential.

• Accompany to job twice a week and ensure safety.

You'll be providing supervision and support, helping him explore interests and participate in community activities. Attending work with him.

Responsibilities

• To accompany this man to his job twice a week and keep an eye on him, keep him safe.
• To support him when attending social or leisure activities, visiting the local farm.
• Engaging in activities related to his passion for music and Liverpool FC. Exploring Belfast City Centre.

Skills and Qualifications

• Patient, supportive with excellent communication skills.
• Experience of Autism and Prader Willi Syndrome might be an advantage but not essential.Car driver preferred but not essential.

Further Information

This will be a temporary post initially with a view to becoming permanent. Access NI checks will be necessary.Start date October 2025 or possibly earlier.
