A mainstream secondary school in Hereford are looking for an dedicated and experienced PE Teacher who will contribute to the wider success of the school and join their Physical Education Department on a short-term basis. You should be comfortable taking on a 0.5 timetable which will include teaching PE to Key Stages 3 to 4. The school is highly regarded for its pupil progress.

You will be expected to have a good knowledge of the national curriculum an enthusiastic and engaging teacher.

The school are looking for a Teacher to start from October 2025 and are looking to interview immediately. This roll will continue for the rest of the Autum term. There is a possibility of this being extended further.

Responsibilities

Teach Physical Education to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 on a part-time timetable (0.5).

Contribute to the wider success of the school and support the Physical Education Department.

Requirements
  • QTS with P.E specialism (QTLS and Instructors may also be considered)
  • 12 months experience of teaching PE to Key Stage 4
  • Ability to deliver high quality sport and physical activity sessions across the National Curriculum
  • Knowledge and understanding of effective pupil behaviour management and ability to implement strategies with a class of 30 children
  • Available for a part-time placement from October to December
