Job description

In your role as Assistant Corporate Access you will be responsible for supporting the planning and implementation of a first‑class program of engagement with current and prospective owners of Wise. You’ll contribute to the achievement of our mission – money without borders – by helping the team grow the capital markets understanding of our mission. You’ll be a key member of a small fast‑moving team with expertise in organisational relationship building and an eye for detail.

Culture is everything to us at Wise and identifying, finding and selecting the best talent to support our highly collaborative and non‑hierarchical culture is key. The right person will have some knowledge of the role of investor relations and experience partnering effectively with both CEO and CFO offices.

Your mission: Investor Engagement
  • Arrange investor meetings for senior members of the Leadership Team and Owner Relations team, ensuring participants are well‑prepared with all relevant information through briefing notes you’ve helped prepare.
  • Track upcoming conferences & roadshows; coordinate logistics, help organise travel arrangements, accommodation and other logistical requirements.
  • Maintain a record of investor engagement in our CRM system as a source of insight for future engagement, keeping track of all investor meetings including attendees, dates and talking points.
  • Take meeting notes during investor meetings and assist with follow‑on action items if needed – ensure notes from other team members are provided and stored as soon as possible following a meeting.
  • Maintain the Investor Relations Engagement Strategy, keeping individual Leadership Team investor plans current and sharing updates every six months.
  • Organise and deliver the logistics for financial results announcements, including full‑ and half‑year results events alongside other events we choose to hold.
  • Ensure everyone is aware of upcoming events and their responsibilities for the event.
  • Send out invites to analysts and investors and keep them updated.
  • Set up events, including catering, building management and registration.
  • Maintain and improve the Owners Relations website, using the backend to update and coming up with ideas to optimise.
  • Follow and track analytics.
  • Manage inbound communication into the Owners Relations inbox; set up meetings and field email requests as they are received.
  • Work with the team to run quarterly planning sessions, company‑wide events where updates occur after teams and squads finish their plans. These sessions include retrospectives and setting priorities for the quarter to ensure progress.
  • Assist in maintaining a structured yearly cadence, including tracking full‑ and half‑year results trading updates, conferences, roadshows and investor engagements.
  • Work with teams to ensure alignment with goals and objectives.
  • Own the IR calendar.
  • Support the Director of IR in the oversight of the team budget.
  • Help the Company Secretary team with any ad‑hoc AGM coordination.
Qualifications
  • Experience in a similar Investor Relations role or as an Executive/Team Assistant in a fast‑moving environment, ideally supporting a global team with multiple demands.
  • Ability to act with total discretion and be trusted with confidential and sensitive matters related to investor relations.
  • Excellent relationship‑building skills, leveraging connections to enhance investor engagement outcomes.
  • Self‑starter who is comfortable working autonomously, identifying gaps and streamlining processes with minimal guidance.
  • Sound judgement and initiative to make decisions in a rapidly changing environment with competing priorities.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities, ensuring successful planning and execution of investor meetings, conferences and other events.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to adapt style to suit different audiences, including senior executives and investors.
  • Proficiency with Google Suite, Slack and other collaboration tools; ability to conduct basic data analysis using spreadsheets.
