Qualifications

  • Essential: clean driving licence and your own car.

Outreach Practitioner- Hemel Hempstead

Salary: £23,218 Annually (Actual)

Academics is a vibrant and unique Pupil Referral Unit based across two sites in Hemel Hempstead. We’re looking for an enthusiastic Outreach Practitioner to join a highly regarded Outreach Team, providing essential support in both primary and secondary schools all connected to the community in Dacorum. As an Outreach Practitioner, you will help learners across 9 Dacorum secondary schools and 57 primary schools. Working from a centre based in Hemel Hempstead, you’ll be part of something impactful and community-rooted.

Your work may be 1:1 with learners displaying challenging behaviour, supporting small groups, or working with whole classes, as well as offering in‑reach support in an on‑site primary provision.

To thrive as an Outreach Practitioner, you’ll bring empathy for disengaged learners, collaborative skills, excellent communication, and strong organisation. A clean driving licence and your own car are essential.

Hours of work as follows:

  • Mon/Tues/Thurs/Fri 8:30‑3:30
  • Wed 8:30‑5:00
