A leading healthcare provider is seeking an outpatient dressing clinic coordinator to manage appointment scheduling and maintain effective communication with patients and medical teams. The role requires familiarity with healthcare environments and excellent IT skills. Candidates must have GCSEs in Maths and English and NVQ Level 3 or equivalent. This part-time position offers a salary of £24,937 to £26,598 annually, pro rata, within East Grinstead. Candidates must be prepared for a DBS check.
We are currently looking for an outpatient dressing clinic coordinator to work in the Main outpatient Department. Ideally we would like someone who has experience in direct face‑to‑face contact with patients/clients for appointment scheduling purposes.
Reporting to the nurse in charge of the clinics that day and working closely with other members of the admin team to ensure the delivery of the service within NHS targets. The role will include receiving confidential and sensitive information, written, oral or verbal, to be exchanged with patients, relatives, staff or external parties.
Please see job description for full details of the role but it will essentially involve all aspects of booking appointments and amending appointments for both existing patients and new patient referrals. Ideally we would like someone with medical experience in a hospital or clinical environment who is able to work both within a busy team and on their own initiative when required. You will be computer literate and be able to manage a range of systems including clinic room allocation.
Band: 3. Salary: £24,937 to £26,598 a year, pro rata. Pay scheme: Agenda for Change. Contract: Permanent. Working pattern: Part‑time.
