A leading healthcare provider in Plymouth is seeking a Training Supporter to train new staff in the Main Outpatient Department. The role involves supporting the Main OPD Admin Manager and ensuring training quality. Ideal candidates should possess strong skills in Microsoft Office and effective communication. The position offers 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with flexible hours.
This role is an exciting and brand new opportunity within the Main Outpatient Department and Outpatient Appointment Centre. As a Training Supporter, you will be required to work flexibly across all areas of the departments, training new staff and supporting the Main OPD Admin Manager with the day to day running of the department and team.
The standard hours will be 37.5 per week working Monday to Friday with hours flexible between 08:00 - 18:00.
***Preference will be given to internal Trust staff, as well as 'Priority' and 'At Risk' status including NHS At Risk staff throughout Devon who are able to display recent relevant experience as dictated by the Person Specification.***
This post is part of a professional team working within the Main OPD and Outpatient Appointment Centre (OAC). The key responsibilities of this role are to ensure appropriate and adequate training is provided to all staff using the Training Competency Framework and working in line with Trust policies and procedures. You will initially be based in the Main OPD supporting the Main OPD Admin Manager with the recent change in site/process. There will be an expectation that the job holder will be required to work in any area of the Main OPD/OAC within the remit of this job description.
