Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a dynamic and enriching outdoor environment? Teaching Personnel’s partner school in Tiverton is seeking a dedicated Outdoor SEN Learning Support Assistant to join their team.

Job Details
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Contract Type: Full-Time, Temporary to Permanent
  • Hours: 9:00 am – 4:30 pm (Monday to Friday)
  • Pay: £100– £110 per day (DOE)
About our Partner School

Teaching Personnel’s partner school in Tiverton provides an alternative, nature-based education for students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Through hands‑on outdoor learning, students develop confidence, resilience, and essential life skills in a supportive, therapeutic environment. The school focuses on emotional well‑being and practical skill‑building to help students gain independence and prepare for future opportunities.

Responsibilities
  • Provide 1:1 support to students with SEN during outdoor activities
  • Assist in planning and adapting activities to individual needs
  • Foster positive relationships with students, families, and staff
  • Monitor and record student progress, communicating with key stakeholders
  • Ensure safety and well‑being during all outdoor sessions
