A leading water utility provider is seeking an OT Field Engineer in Norwich, primarily covering Norfolk. This role involves maintaining and commissioning operational technology systems critical for real-time water management. The ideal candidate will have a background in electrical or control engineering, with skills in PLC troubleshooting and technical support. A competitive salary and benefits package, including a company vehicle, is offered.
Circa £46,000 salary dependant on skills and experience + Company Vehicle (All PPE, Tools, and fuel card provided)
Field Based covering Norfolk (primarily Norwich); Ideally based around the Norwich area

Operational Technology (OT) refers to the set of digital assets which are at the very heart of Anglian Waters industrial operations. Operational technology systems are deployed throughout our geographical region to enable remote monitoring and control of water collection, treatment and distribution processes.
As an OT Field Engineer, your primary focus will be the maintenance, repair, and commissioning of operational technology (OT) hardware, systems, and networks. This critical infrastructure is essential for the real-time monitoring and control of operational plant and processes across our Water and Water Recycling estate.
You will also need to work collaboratively with other operational teams across water and Water recycling and provide technical support in the diagnosis of instrumentation, and control issues to mitigate non-compliance and process continuity risks.
Ideally be educated to HNC/HND (or equivalent) level or have time served experience in maintenance, commissioning or field service of electrical, instrumentation or telecommunications systems with a City and Guilds /NVQ level 3 electrical qualification.
Experience of, and/or formal training in programming and fault finding of Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) or process control equipment would be an advantage, alongside some of the following;
