Are you an experienced orthopaedic nurse with a passion for innovation, technology, and patient‑centred care? We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly skilled Specialist Orthopaedic Nurse to support the development and delivery of a digitally supported service for patients undergoing orthopaedic surgery across Arrowe Park and Clatterbridge Hospitals.

The Successful Candidate Will
  • Collaborate with orthopaedic consultants in a variety of settings, including inpatient wards and outpatient departments.
  • Lead and deliver nurse‑led clinics to support patients in their post‑operative recovery.
  • Use and help shape digital platforms to improve communication, monitoring, and follow‑up care for orthopaedic patients.
  • Contribute to audits, and participate in teaching to ensure our service remains evidence‑based and forward‑thinking.
  • Play a key role in the ongoing evaluation and refinement of our digitally enabled pathways.
The Successful Candidate Will Have
  • Significant experience in elective orthopaedics.
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage a specialist caseload.
  • Strong IT skills and confidence in using digital tools in clinical practice.
  • A working knowledge of digital health platforms.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to patient safety, quality improvement, and delivering outstanding care.
