Job summary

Instrumental in supporting the Trust's Culture Framework – HEART

Contributing to the implementation of the NHSE Management and Leadership Framework, Self‑Assessment tool, Appraisal and 360 roll out.

Job responsibilities

Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic Organisational Development plans and initiatives to meet the organisational needs of Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust.

To support and advise the national and regional policy and interpretation locally and highlight best practice initiatives and approaches that support Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust organisational development.

To monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the implementation of strategic Organisational Development plans and initiatives within allocated division, ensuring their refinement to achieve continual improvement.

Develop, lead, implement, evaluate and deliver training on the NHSE Code of Practice together with agreed CW ezekiel inclusions, modelling its values of respect, excellence, integrity, collaboration and compassion.

  • Implement and maintain self‑assessment, appraisal and 360 tools aligned to the NHSE Management and Leadership standards, with associated guidance and support.
  • Attend training around the Management and Leadership Development standards to support all managers.

Person Specification
Education
  • Qualified to degree level or equivalent knowledge, skills and experience in related subject.
  • Formal qualification in OD, training and learning development and support. Clinical staff who have a registration and experience of learning delivery would also be considered.
Knowledge and Skills
  • The ability to use an array of specialist authorising tools to develop new OD and leadership learning programmes.
  • Awareness and knowledge of Management and Leadership Development Framework.
  • Flair for creating interactive and engaging sessions.
Experience
  • Extensive experience of content development at a professional level.
  • Experience of planning and developing e‑learning solutions at pace and in response to a specific brief.
  • Significant experience of managing/leading staff.
Other
  • Must be a car driver and able to travel in a large geographical area.
