Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Order Picker to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment while ensuring the highest standards of quality control. This role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Working Hours

Monday–Friday 1:00pm–9:30pm or 4:30pm–1:00am

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick and pack orders according to customer specifications
• Load and unload goods from lorries and storage areas
• Operate forklifts and other materials handling equipment safely
• Maintain an organised and clean work area within the warehouse
• Utilise warehouse management systems for tracking inventory and order processing
• Assist with shipping and receiving activities, ensuring all products are accounted for
• Conduct quality control checks on products before dispatch
• Stock shelves and replenish inventory as needed
• Perform heavy lifting as required, adhering to safety protocols

Skills

• Proven experience in warehouse operations, including picking and packing
• Familiarity with materials handling equipment, particularly forklifts
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems is advantageous
• Strong mechanical knowledge to assist with equipment maintenance
• Excellent attention to detail for quality control purposes
• Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the shift
• Effective communication skills and ability to work well within a team
