Job description

Thrive Group are recruiting for Order Picker to join our client based in Blandford Forum, Dorset. Our client has been delivering frozen meals for over 30 years to the elderly, their family's and healthcare professionals. You will be required to also cover driver holidays. A clean driving licence is essential.

You will be working in a small team, being a team player is essential. You will be working in our coldstore that runs at a chilly -20 degrees. Protective clothing designed to deal with temperature will be provided.

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday #removed# - flexibility required (including bank holidays) - 30 minutes unpaid lunch
• Working hours may differ when required to cover driving (0700 starts till finish)

Responsibilities

• Picking orders in our cold store
• Cover drivers holiday/sickness in emergencies
• Exceptional customer service standards
• Driving company vehicles, safely, responsibly and within the law
• May on occasions be required to help in other area's of the business when required
• Ability to use our delivery driver app
• Able to undertake a pre-delivery inspection of van if required
• Ensure customer confidentiality

Requirements

• Full Clean UK driving licence for manual vehicles due to insurance restrictions.
• Excellent attention to detail as accuracy on picking is paramount due to customer base
• Experience in a customer service based role
• Basic computer literacy, including the use of mobile phone app's, google maps and what3words
• Evidence of work stability
• Strong ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients.
• Previous experience in a warehouse environment is advantageous.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and tasks as required.
