A leading healthcare provider in the UK is seeking General Ophthalmologists for part-time opportunities. You will perform a range of ophthalmology appointments, provide supervision in community services, and deliver high-quality clinical care. Candidates should have a UK registered Medical Degree or equivalent, as well as MRCOphth/FRCOphth qualifications. Part Time - Permanent (2 days per week)
Salary : £125,000 to £131,000 a year per annum for full time
Managerial accountability : Hospital Manager
Professional accountability : Clinical Director for Ophthalmology

Due to the growth of our services we are looking for employed Ophthalmologists to join us across the UK in our CHEC Hospitals and Community Centres.
The post holder will be required to perform a range of ophthalmology appointments on patients referred to CHEC and provide supervision of the provision of adult community ophthalmology services delivered by healthcare professionals, working in accordance with CHEC treatment protocols and working practices.
Day to day, the post holder will deliver high quality clinical care to patients attending the community ophthalmology service in the following areas :
To continue with our support for the NHS, we are looking for experienced general ophthalmologists of all grades to undertake consultation clinics and / or ophthalmic surgeries across the range of services we offer. Applicants will be expected to have an excellent clinical quality record and be able to demonstrate the ability to perform efficiently independently in clinics / theatre. Applicants will also need to demonstrate commitment to excellent teamwork. The post holder will have the opportunity to review their job plan with the Clinical Director at least annually.
