This role is field based and will require some travel across our UK logistics network
Here you will be accountable for ensuring the successful delivery of change and transformation programmes across our Logistics network. You will work collaboratively with teams across Logistics, Transformation, and the wider business to agree on business plans and continuous improvement plans. Your role will involve programme planning, process improvement, cost management, change management, and industry thinking to drive efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance quality within the logistics operations.
Additionally, you will provide training and support to Logistics teams, attend forums and meetings related to food programmes, and be accountable for governance and accountability by producing required status reports and updates for Steering and Working Groups. Your expertise in end-to-end warehouse operations, strategic change implementation, risk management, and effective communication will be essential in driving the success of programmes and initiatives.
You will have a proven track record in driving strategic change and delivering operational excellence within complex logistics operations. Your expertise in programme management, process improvement, and cost-saving initiatives enables you to lead transformation programmes effectively, ensuring operational imperatives are aligned with business goals.
