A leading delivery service provider in the UK is seeking an Operations Performance Leader to spearhead performance in delivery offices across the South East. This pivotal role involves managing teams, driving transformations, and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will be a resilient leader with exceptional communication skills and a proven track record in operational excellence, focused on influencing and inspiring teams to deliver outstanding service.
Salary from £63,000 (dependent on experience) plus £5,500 car allowance or £5,000 cash alternative, full family healthcare, 18% annual bonus potential, 27.5 days annual leave plus bank holidays and a pension scheme with highly competitive contribution rates

This is a regional role where frequent travel to various sites within a set region of the South East (Kent, Surrey, and East & West Sussex) will be expected, plus occasional national travel requirements.

As an Operations Performance Leader, you will act as an Area Manager, spearheading a specific geographical area of Delivery Offices, where our posties are based. You will play a pivotal role in inspiring and empowering Customer Operations Managers (COMs) in those offices to deliver exceptional service. By driving performance improvements and cultivating a culture of accountability, you’ll directly influence the delivery of letters and parcels nationwide.
You will be a resilient and agile leader who thrives in a fast‑paced operational environment. This is a hands‑on role where you will be expected to be visible in your Delivery offices, leading from the front. This is an exciting opportunity to make a tangible impact by coaching, supporting and enabling COMs to enhance their leadership capabilities. You’ll champion collaboration across teams, instil accountability in your managers, fostering networks and delivering targeted interventions that maximise performance across the community.
