Job Description

We are recruiting an experienced Operations Manager to join our Depot management team. You will oversee the smooth operation of the depot, ensuring outstanding service to customers and achieving objectives related to Cost, Health & Safety, Security, Productivity, and Transport.

Your responsibilities include:

• Recruitment, development, and retention of staff, ensuring compliance and Employee Relations processes.
• Managing P&L through effective planning and reporting.
• Enhancing operational support with innovative working methods.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with:

• Extensive experience in logistics, warehouse, or distribution industries.
• Ability to manage a fast-paced operation and motivate high-performing teams.
• Experience in monitoring performance, data analysis, and implementing improvements.
• Outstanding communication skills with strategic influence.

• Availability to work any 5 shifts, including some weekends, as depots operate 365 days a year.
• A full UK driving license is essential.
