OPERATIONS MANAGER - COMPLEX CARE

Salary up to £55,000 per year

Location: Midlands/North (UK-wide travel as needed)

Overview

We're working on behalf of a leading complex care provider to source an experienced Operations Manager to lead service delivery across a key regional portfolio. This is a high-impact leadership role overseeing the operational performance of complex care services. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving quality, efficiency, team development, and client satisfaction across a portfolio of regulated care packages.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a regional complex care operation
  • Ensure safe, compliant, person-centred service delivery
  • Drive performance across KPIs (time-to-hire, mobilisation, GP, QA scores, etc.)
  • Lead and develop a team of Community Care Leads
  • Oversee financial performance, risk, and margin management
  • Support the mobilisation of new packages in partnership with clinical leads
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with recruitment, clinical, and operations teams
  • Maintain stakeholder relationships with funders, case managers, and MDTs
  • Support continuous improvement and uphold regulatory standards (e.g. CQC)
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Proven track record in operational leadership within complex/community care
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen
  • Experience managing multi-site teams and care delivery operations
  • Knowledge of CQC requirements and quality assurance standards
  • Skilled in team performance management and stakeholder engagement
