We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Operations Manager to oversee key operational functions across our busy school. Reporting to the Director of Finance and Operations, this role is pivotal in ensuring smooth day to day running of services and compliance with relevant standards.

The Operations Manager will take responsibility for areas including insurance, coach services, catering, lettings, utilities, administration, and compliance. You will work closely with colleagues, external providers, and the wider school community to deliver high quality services that support our students and staff.

The ideal candidate will bring excellent organisational and communication skills, the ability to build positive relationships, and strong attention to detail. Experience in managing operations, compliance, or service contracts will be an advantage, along with a flexible and solution focused approach.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to the effective running of the school and play a vital role in supporting its success.

The role sits within the Bursary team, which is headed up by the Director of Finance and Operations and also includes the Finance, Estates and IT functions.

Sir William Perkins’s School is a high-performing, academically selective, independent girls’ school for approximately 600 students aged 11 – 18 years. The Head is both a member of HMC and GSA. It is located on an attractive 12- acre site situated on the outskirts of Chertsey, a two-minute walk from the railway station and very near to the junction of the M3 and M25.
