Job description

Responsibilities
  • Lead Collections, Transfer Station, and HWRC teams to deliver contract KPIs and objectives while managing resources effectively in line with company policies
  • Ensure compliance with VMR standards, permits, planning permissions and licenses under your control
  • Establish and maintain financial controls and budgetary control in line with forecasts, with responsibility for £20m revenue
  • Manage operational service delivery in line with PFI Contract KPIs and customer expectations
  • Provide clear feedback and guidance to team members through regular one-to-one meetings and appraisal processes
  • Challenge safety behavior of all site users and promote good safe behaviors across all operations
  • Review operations regularly to establish best practice and ensure efficient, sustainable operations
Qualifications
  • Experience in Operational Waste Management at a senior level
  • CPC National & International Road Haulage qualification
  • CPC Holder
  • IOSH qualification
  • Strong people management skills with ability to motivate and manage teams effectively from remote locations
