Responsibilities
- Lead Collections, Transfer Station, and HWRC teams to deliver contract KPIs and objectives while managing resources effectively in line with company policies
- Ensure compliance with VMR standards, permits, planning permissions and licenses under your control
- Establish and maintain financial controls and budgetary control in line with forecasts, with responsibility for £20m revenue
- Manage operational service delivery in line with PFI Contract KPIs and customer expectations
- Provide clear feedback and guidance to team members through regular one-to-one meetings and appraisal processes
- Challenge safety behavior of all site users and promote good safe behaviors across all operations
- Review operations regularly to establish best practice and ensure efficient, sustainable operations
Qualifications
- Experience in Operational Waste Management at a senior level
- CPC National & International Road Haulage qualification
- CPC Holder
- IOSH qualification
- Strong people management skills with ability to motivate and manage teams effectively from remote locations
- Business acumen and financial management capabilities
