The Company

Our client has grown to be one of the UK's largest suppliers of building and construction steel reinforcement solutions for the forming, fixing, connecting and reinforcing of concrete into the Construction & Civil's industry. This growth has seen the company turnover increase and their ability to service clients far beyond their expectations. With continued support for training with a guarantee that personal development will be encouraged and promoted our client is now looking to succession plan for their operations in the Craigavon area.

The Role

This is a fundamental role in the company's business strategy and requires individuals of an ambitious nature; the roles will allow applicants to develop Production control specifically manpower, activity, health and safety and work schedules. Basic HR function in terms of staff training and development, Health and Safety in a busy Production environment as well as control and compliance of Quality and Quality standards. This role will be an evolving role that will give applicants real prospects to progress into a furthermore senior Management role. Operating across the whole Production/Manufacturing operation but with key focus on Labour, Manufacturing, H&S, MRP, Quality, TQM and Process Improvement you will get the chance to champion and develop each department. After a full and comprehensive induction into the business you will be responsible to our client's senior team. The client provides products into all Construction and Civil Contractors, House Builders and Design and Build Contractors. You will oversee the team leaders of the production maintenance, H&S and Quality teams which will include areas in the business such as Manufacture, Production and Fabrication, learning the skills necessary to progress in your career.

The Candidate

Suitable applicants must be able to show a good understand of Operational, Production, Manufacture Man Management with supervisory and management experience ideally with good knowledge of Production, H & S, Quality, Manpower, Labour. Ideally within a production, construction or manufacturing environment and have operational production/manufacturing and Commercial skills and the motivation to succeed within this industry. Ideally applicants will come from within Steel, Heavy Production, Building Product Supply, Production Engineering, Manufacture, Metals, heavy-side product manufacture, Production Management or a Technical/Engineering Business with experience and be looking for a challenging new role. Applicants must be able to demonstrate high levels of drive. This role requires an applicant who is both comfortable technically and are able to promote safe work practices and high-quality standards.
