A leading housing provider in Coatbridge seeks an Operations Director to lead operational delivery and commercial performance. You will report to the Managing Director, driving service excellence across various housing operations while ensuring compliance and tenant satisfaction. Ideal candidates will have a degree, substantial leadership experience in construction or repairs, and strong commercial acumen. The role offers an annual salary of up to £125,000, plus benefits including a company car or allowance.

Mears Limited is seeking an exceptional Operations Director to lead the operational delivery and commercial performance of our contract with North Lanarkshire council. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will play a key strategic role in ensuring customer‑focused, end‑to‑end service excellence across housing, compliance, responsive repairs, planned maintenance and investment programmes is met whilst ensuring all internal KPI’s are met.
You will be the second in command to the Managing Director and will need to step up when they are out of the business.
You will provide strategic leadership to office teams, operational teams and our supply chain—driving performance, innovation, customer engagement and continuous service improvement. You will be central to maintaining strong tenant and client satisfaction while developing trusted, collaborative relationships that support the long‑term success of the contract. You will play a vital role in ensuring delivery of social value expectations within the contract.

To drive a Mears vehicle, you must be aged over 21 have held your licence over 3 months and have less than 9 points.
