Operations Co-ordinator

Location: Rowley Regis

Salary: £30,000-£35,000

Reports to: STC Operations Manager

Are you organised, safety-driven and ready to build a rewarding career in environmental operations? Join our clients team at the Soil Treatment Centre, where you'll play a key role in ensuring the site operates safely, efficiently and fully compliant with environmental and quality standards.

What You'll Be Doing

As the Operations Co-ordinator, you'll help keep the site running smoothly day-to-day, including:

  • Ensuring the site is always safe, efficient and compliant.
  • Completing monitoring checks and planning next treatment steps.
  • Updating internal systems with batch activities and treatment changes.
  • Following company procedures, work instructions and RAMS to maintain exceptional H&S standards.
  • Carrying out site inductions, toolbox talks and checking contractor RAMS.
  • Maintaining excellent operational standards and suggesting improvements.
  • Managing equipment stock levels and organising replacements.
  • Reporting site deficiencies and safety concerns promptly, recording actions taken.
  • Managing documentation in line with the site permit and quality systems.
  • Carrying out regular safety, quality and compliance checks (fire safety, first aid, calibrations, maintenance records, asbestos logs, monthly checks).
  • Working closely with the Works Manager to plan site activities.
  • Supporting housekeeping standards and assisting the QA/QC teams.
